Iran's Muaythai fighters bag 5 medals in World C’ship

Iranian female fighter Setareh Morshedi (-60kg) accepted defeat against her rival from Russia in the final of the U17 division to gain the silver medal in the sporting event.

Other Iranian fighters, Zahra Kianpour (-67kg) and Kiarash Ahamdi Chegini (-86kg) each grabbed silver and bronze medals respectively in the U21 division.

Also, Mohammad-Ali Mazaheri (-38kg) in U11 and Maedeh Sadeghzadeh (-36kg) in U13 each received bronze medals in the tournament.

The 2023 IFMA Youth World Championships and U23 World Cup were held from 29th September until 7th of October in Antalya, Turkey.
