Tajik MoD meets with Iran's top military cmdr.

Tajik Defense Minister Colonel General Sherali Mirzo held a meeting at the complex of General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran with the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Major General Mohammad Hossein Bagheri.

The development of military-defense relations in various fields of research, training and security is one of the main topics discussed in the meeting.

The Minister of Defense of Tajikistan arrived in Iran on Tuesday at the head of a military delegation and has also met with his Iranian counterpart Minister of Defense Brigadier General Amir Hatami.
