Iran’s Hamedan picked as Asian Capital of Tourism 2024

Masoud Hosseini told reporters on Wednesday that the selection of Hamedan as the Asian Capital City of Tourism has been announced in the Asian Mayors Forum.

He hailed the efforts made by Hamedan city council to introduce the city’s tourism potentials to the world.

Hosseini added that the international registration of Ekbatana was an effective measure in introducing the potentials of the city.

Hamedan is known for its historical attractions which date back to the Median empire.
