Raeisi felicitates Independence Day of Turkmenistan

In a congratulatory message to his Turkmen counterpart Serdar Berdimuhamedow, Raeisi said that the cultural and historical commonalities, common interests, and the exchange of high-ranking delegations of the two countries have played a significant role in the expansion and continuation of bilateral relations.

He also called for increasing the level of bilateral relations between Tehran and Ashgabat in line with mutual interests and the development of regional and international peace and security.

Independence Day of Turkmenistan is the main state holiday in Turkmenistan. This date is celebrated in Turkmenistan annually on September 27.
