IRI Majils condemns Afghans massacre by US

IRI's Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission in a statement on Monday condemned killing of 16 Afghans by a US troop in Afghanistan, terming the event as a sign of US helplessness in the region. The statement underlined that such catastrophes will be repeated as long as American troops remain in the Islamic land of Afghanistan. The statement announced that withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan is the only way to save the country. “Expressing condolences to the bereaved families of the victims, the statement called on the United Nations to condemn such a human catastrophe and baltant violation of human rights in Afghanistan. The statement also asked the UN to facilitate the US troops’ exit from Afghanistan by issuing a resolution against the heinous crime.
