Terrorist team dismantled in SE Iran

Following the recent armed conflict between the border guards and a terrorist group in the Jakigor border region, located in the Sistan and Baluchestan province, one of the members of this terrorist team was killed and 2 others were injured and fled the scene of the conflict, Goudarzi said.

After searching the area to identify the 2 injured terrrorists, the border guards discovered the dead body of a terrorist along with several grenades and a suicide vest.

The terrorist group was trying to enter the country with significant amounts of weapons, ammunition, and explosives with the aim of conducting acts of sabotage, he added.
