Echoes of Iran in Egypt

Thirty-two years ago, almost to the day, I was in the streets of one of the largest Middle Eastern capitals demanding the ouster of a three-decade-old dictatorship. With some friends in Tehran, I helped organize demonstrators from dawn to dusk as the sun set on the shah’s regime
