IRI navy saves Panamaian ship from pirates

IRI's naval forces on Wednesday rescued a Panamaian-flagged cargo ship 'Cruiser Heilan with 25 crew on board from pirates in the Sea of Oman. According to the Public Relations Department of Iranían Navy, the Iranian warship “Behregan” was immediately sent to the scene of conflict upon receipt of SOS from the Panamaian cargo ship. Upon arrival of the Iranian marines, the pirates escaped. The captain of the Panamaian cargo ship thanked the Iranian naval forces for their timely interference
