Frozen Choghakhor Lagoon

TEHRAN, Jan. 16 (MNA) – Choghakhor Lagoon in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province of Iran is frozen these days due to the cold weather sweeping across the country.

It is considered to be one of the most important sites in Iran for the endemic Zagros pupfish, Aphanius vladykovi.
