Spanish Foreign Minister to Visit Iran

Spanish Foreign Minister Alfonso Dastis is scheduled to pay an official visit to Tehran in February.

According to the diplomat’s website, quoted by the Islamic Republic News Agency, the trip was initially slated to take place in October, but postponed due to the country's domestic problem cause by independence-seeking bid of Catalonia.

The Spanish foreign minister’s visit to Iran is of high significance from economic point of view since because during his stay in the Tehran, he will try to remove problems in the two countries’ economic relations.
