Mashhad streets decorated on birthday anniv. of Imam Mahdi

TEHRAN, Mar. 16 (MNA) – The birthday anniversary of the 12th Imam or mid-Sha'ban celebration is a Muslim holiday observed by Muslim communities on the night between 14 and 15 Sha'ban.

Mid Shaban is celebrated in many countries across the world, including Iran, Pakistan, Lebanon, Turkey, Bangladesh and many others.
