Some 210 members of the Iranian parliament on Tuesday condemned the Zionist regime's decision to declare the Holy Quds as its capital. In a statement read to the parliament’s open session, they said the decision was just another chapter of the book of the crimes, aggressions and oppressive acts of the usurper regime. Referring to the lack of commitment of the Zionist regime to the international norms and laws since its very establishment, they said the regime intends to gradually occupy the whole Palestinian territories, annihilate the nation’s identity, make hundreds of Palestinian men, women and children homeless and embark on tribal and ethnic cleansing in the Holy Quds. The statement further described the Zionist regime as a fabricated and anti-human identity with racist and immoral attitudes which poses serious security and political threats to the human society. The parliamentarians also called on all world parliament members to protest against the Zionist regime's decision to avoid repetition of yet another human catastrophe in the occupied Palestine.
