IRI people voting in runoff parliamentary elections

Iranians were going to voting stations on Friday in 33 constituencies nationwide in the second round of the ninth parliamentary elections to decide on 65 empty chairs in the 290-memebr Islamic Consultative Assembly (Majlis). Polling stations opened at eight o'clock a.m. in the related constituencies. In the capital Tehran, people voted to choose 25 out of 50 who have qualified for the runoff polls. Five lawmakers made it to parliament in the first round.
