Nigeria: Civil Society Flays Political Parties Over Election Code

A civil society coaliton comprising the Transition Monitoring Group (TMG), Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Center (CISLAC) and Centre for Democracy and Development (CDD), on Sunday condemned the refusal of some political parties to sign the code of conduct for political parties, insisting that their action was undemocratic and negated the 2011 electoral law.
