Tracing Egypt’s drugs of choice

Egypt is the most populous country in the Arab world, so naturally it has the largest number of drug users. According to Hegazy, the drugs of choice for Egyptians include bango (a type of locally cultivated cannabis), hashish (cannabis), amphetamines and heroin.
