Obama to discuss security ties with Australian PM

The US President, Mr Barack Obama, is expected to meet the Australian Prime Minister, Ms Julia Gillard, today as both sides are likely to discuss measures to strengthen defence ties and prospects of Canberra’s role in Afghanistan after withdrawal of coalition forces in 2014.
