Israel’s Barak plays down ‘shadow war’ against Iran

Israeli Defence Minister Ehud Barak yesterday played down speculation that Israel and US-led allies are waging a clandestine war on Iran, saying sanctions and the threat of military strikes were still the way to curb its nuclear programme.
