Clinton Criticizes Sale of Surveillance Tools to Some Countries

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton criticized companies for selling surveillance tools to repressive regimes in a speech on Thursday in the Netherlands, in which she called on the private sector to carry out "human-rights due diligence" before selling sensitive technology.
