Brent holds above USD 109 as OPEC meets

Brent crude has held over USD 109 a barrel this morning ahead of an OPEC meeting. Jitters over Iran and threats to key shipping lanes drove up oil prices by more than USD 2 to post its biggest gain since late November yesterday, in sharp contrast to a fall in most other financial markets.
