US Senate passes defense bill, targets Pakistan aid

WASHINGTON (AFP) - The US Senate passed a $662 billion defense bill Thursday that also freezes some Pakistan aid, imposes sanctions on Iran's central bank, and approves the indefinite imprisonment of suspected terrorists.
