Eastday-U.S. Congress clears Defense Budget

WASHINGTON, Dec. 15-- The U.S. Senate on Thursday voted to pass a massive Defense Authorization Bill that included language to appease the White House on terrorist detainee issue, as well as sanctions on Iran's central bank.
