Russia seizes Iran-bound radioactive material

Customs officers at a Moscow airport say they have seized radioactive material from the luggage of an Iranian national bound for Tehran. Sodium-22 is used in medical equipment but the service said it could be obtained only as a result of a nuclear reactor’s operations. An investigation is underway.
