Iran backs Saudi-Syrian bid to defuse crisis

Prime Minister Saad Hariri won over the weekend Iran's backing for a Saudi-Syrian initiative to break the deadlock in Lebanon over an international court to try his father's assassins, with the Iranian administration reiterating the need to bolster Lebanese national unity to face threats, sources close to Hariri said.
