IRI athletes win two more Asian medals

IRI athletes Reza Qasemi and Hassan Heydarpour on Sunday won gold and bronze medals, respectively, at the 2012 Asian Indoor Athletics Championships in China. The two gained their medals at the men’s final 60m during which the gold medalist set the record of 6.68 seconds and Heydarpour clocked the 6.78 and stood third after his rival from Hong Kong. The 5th Asian Indoor Athletics Championships kicked off in Hangzhou, China, on February 18 and will end today. Fourteen Iranian athletes are taking part in the event.
