Iran Prepares For Syrian Takeover

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- Iran has laid the groundwork for a takeover of Syria regardless of the survival of President Bashar Assad, a report said. Two leading U.S. think tanks said in a joint report that Teheran has exploited its support for Assad to prepare an Iranian presence in Syria even after the fall of the president.
