Gem, jewellery and tourism industries target US$ 1b income

The government intends to develop the local gem and jewellery industry along with the tourist industry make them billion dollar industries, Minister of International Monetary Cooperation and Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning Dr Sarath Amunugama said.
