US President Obama and Iranian President Rouhani put phone down on years of hatred

PRESIDENT Hassan Rouhani was cheered by hundreds of Iranians on his return from New York yesterday after a historic phone call with US President Barack Obama delivered the highest level of contact between the two countries for three decades.
