Lose the noose?

Taking up his post as Justice Minister Wijedasa Rajapaksa declared after meeting chief Buddhist prelates of the Asgiriya and Malwatte chapters, that he will waste no time in reintroducing the death penalty to eradicate or fight crime in the country, if necessary.
