Iran, Afghanistan hold political consultation meeting

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi sympathized with the Afghan people and government over the recent tankers explosion near Islam Qala border.

Meerwais Nab, Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs, appreciated the in-time and effective contributions of Iranian organizations for containing the fire and responding to the situation in Islam Qala.

The two sides discuss ways to expand bilateral ties and regional cooperation.
