1 person killed in stabbing attack in Amsterdam

One of the victims died at the scene and the others were taken to a hospital for treatment, Amsterdam police said in a statement, Anadolu agency reported.

The 29-year-old attacker was apprehended, it added.

Dutch police officials did not provide further details on the identity of the perpetrator of the stabbing in Amsterdam, his motive, and the identity of the person killed and injured.
