Iran's fencing team ranks 6th at Tokyo Olympics

Defeated by Italy Iran lost the chance to win a medal.

Iranian fencers continued to compete for the fifth rank.

It won against the US but lost to Egypt and finished sixth.

The Iranian team included Mohammad Fotouhi, Mohammad Rahbari and Ali Pakdaman.

The teams of Italy and South Korea will compete for the gold medal, and the teams of Hungary and Germany will compete for the bronze medal.
