Iran thrash Japan at Intercontinental Beach Soccer Cup

Iran faced Japan for their second match at the 2021 Intercontinental Beach Soccer Cup on Wednesday and defeated their east Asian opponent 6-1.

Iran will play Russia tomorrow (Thursday).

The Iranian team is led by Abbas Hashempour and if they win the title this year, they will equalize with Brazil and Russia who have won the title three times each.

The UAE city of Dubai hosts the annual tournament.
