Growing barberies in South Khorasan province

BIRJAND, Oct. 29 (MNA) – South Khorasan ranks first in barberry production in Iran and the world. Barberry are grown in the province in an area over 18,600 hectares, and it is expected that 110,000 tons of barberry will be harvested this year.
