Explosions reported near Erbil airport

Iraqi Sabreen News Telegram channel announced an explosion near the Erbil airport in the north of the country.

Moments later, some sources announced that the so-called US anti-ISIL coalition base near Erbil airport on Wednesday used its defense system on a test basis, and the explosions heard are related to this system.

No further details have been released yet.
