Iranian female rafting team crowned at Asian C’ships

The Iranian national squad comprised of Saba Fadaei, Setareh Homayoon Fard, Sahar Ghasemi, Melina Ebrahimian, and Faezeh Ronasi prevailed over the hosts and took home the RX and overall gold medal.

Around 20 national and international teams were participating, hailing from countries like Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Iran, Iraq, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, and Indonesia.

The championship was held on the Sutlej River, near Basantpur in the Sunni region, India, from March 4th to 9th, 2024.
