Iran detains senior ISIL member in Alborz province

The ISIL terrorist, Mohammad Zaker, known as Ramesh, was detained in Mahdasht along with 2 other terrorists with the cooperation of a responsible citizen who identified them and informed the police, he said.

Saying that the terrorists were arrested in two different operations after their car was shot at, the spokesperson said that the three terrorists were planning on carrying out suicide attacks on Eid al-Fitr.

Eight people who were accompanying the terrorists were also arrested, he added.
