Erdogan blasts West's double standards over Iran Israel response

Tensions in the Middle East were high on Tuesday, following Iran's weekend attack on Israel. 

Israeli officials have vowed to retaliate, though Israel, the US and UK intercepted the vast majority of the more than 300 drones and missiles launched by Tehran on Saturday. 

As Western governments rush to avert further conflict, Turkey's leader accused the West of double standards for condemning Iran's weekend attacks on Israel but not speaking out against Israel for targeting an Iranian consulate in Syria earlier.
