Anti-regime demos rock restive Syria
Yemenis have taken to the streets in the northern city of Sa’ada to protest against US and Israeli interference in their country’s internal affairs, according to Press TV. On Friday, demonstrators shouted slogans against the United States and Israel and called on the Yemeni government to halt its political and military cooperation with Washington. The protesters also called for an end to the violence raging across the country. On Monday, 120 people, mostly soldiers, were killed and about 350 others were injured in a bomb attack targeting a military parade rehearsal in the Yemeni capital Sana’a. Another bomber tried to attack the Sa’ada demonstration, which was organized by the Houthi movement, but ended up only killing himself.
